Well, the Holiday season is in full swing!  Homes across the globe are adorned with lights, malls and parking lots are crammed with people scrambling to get their gifts together, and children are eagerly awaiting the day when they will wake their parents at the crack of dawn to see if ol' Saint Nick has paid them a visit.  Holiday dinners need to be planned, tasty treats need to be made, gifts must be purchased and wrapped, and holiday parties need attending. 

What a list! 

All this in addition to the day to day life that must be handled.  With all the bustle and hoopla of the season, how do you find time to get everything done?  Shoebox Savings has compiled 3 tips of things you can do to save time, and perhaps even your sanity this Holiday season.

1) When gift shopping many people just go out and meander from one place to the other hoping to bump into something fantastic for their loved-one.  Instead of doing this, put together a plan.  Make a list of your gift ideas, where you are going, and how much you are willing to spend.  Be realistic about this and write this down! After 3 hours of shopping and built-up frustration, the temptation to pick up the first gift-like item you see is strong.  A plan of action will not only reduce impulse spending, but makes sure that you utilize your available time wisely and give a gift that will be appreciated.
